We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers store data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 24 months.
  • Client and billing records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.
  • Business contact details: until you opt out, or 24 months after our last contact.
  • Opt-out requests: kept on a suppression list so we don’t contact you again.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work. We use analytics only to produce aggregate statistics that help us improve the website. UK law allows these without prior consent, and you can opt out at any time. Any other cookies, including advertising cookies, are set only with your consent, which you can change at any time through our cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to how we use it (you can always object to direct marketing); and to give you your data in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@alphatwice.com. We will respond within one month, and may ask you to confirm your identity.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at privacy@alphatwice.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you the outcome without undue delay.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Keeping your data secure

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and access controls, and we limit access to people who need it.
