Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. About these terms

1.1 These terms apply to the design subscription supplied by Alpha Twice Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 9504630), registered office 57 park view, London, N21 1QS, England,(“AlphaTwice”, “we”, “us”), to the business that subscribes (“you”).

1.2 The subscription is for business customers only. By subscribing, you confirm you are acting for a business and not as a consumer.

1.3 The contract starts when you complete your subscription and we receive your first payment. Anything we agree with you in writing for your account, such as a founding-partner price, forms part of the contract and takes priority over these terms if the two conflict.

2. The service

2.1 Your subscription gives you ongoing design support across brand and visual identity design, marketing and advertising campaigns, presentations and print, website and product design, and motion and video.

2.2 We work on one active request at a time. You can add as many requests as you like to your queue, and we agree priorities with you, including on a weekly planning call. Larger requests are divided into stages.

2.3 For a clearly briefed, standard request, we aim to share a first update within two to three business days. Timings are targets, not guaranteed delivery dates. Timings for larger work are agreed at the outset.

2.4 Studio hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, excluding bank holidays in England.

2.5 The subscription does not include copywriting, filming, photography, website or application development, substantial research programmes or specialist production. Webflow builds are included only where we agree them in your queue. We will quote separately for any excluded service before starting it.

2.6 We may use carefully selected subcontractors and software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to deliver the service, and we remain responsible for their work. We will not put your confidential information into any tool that uses it to train models available to others.

3. Your responsibilities

3.1 You will give us clear briefs, timely feedback and approvals, and access to the materials we need.

3.2 You confirm that you have the right to use everything you give us, such as logos, images, text, fonts and data, and that our using it to deliver the service will not infringe anyone’s rights.

3.3 You are responsible for checking approved work before you use it, including the accuracy of any claims and compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to your business.

3.4 If a request waits more than 10 business days for your input, we may move on to the next request in your queue.

4. Fees and payment

4.1 The subscription fees are: Monthly, £4,000 a month; Quarterly, £11,000 a quarter; Annual, £40,000 a year. All fees exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate.

4.2 Fees are paid in advance at the start of each billing period through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it.

4.3 If a payment fails, we will tell you and may pause work until it is paid. We may charge interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4.4 We may change our fees by giving you at least 30 days’ written notice. A change applies from your first renewal after the notice period ends. Any price we have agreed in writing to fix for you is honoured for the agreed period.

4.5 Unused capacity in a billing period does not carry over to the next one.

5. Cancellation and refunds

5.1 You can cancel at any time before your next billing date, from your subscription dashboard or by emailing us at billing@alphatwice.com. Your service continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further payments are taken.

5.2 First-week refund (Monthly plan only): if you cancel within seven days of your first payment, we will refund 75% of that payment. Any work delivered during that week is yours to keep. This applies once per client.

5.3 Apart from clause 5.2, or where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. Quarterly and Annual plans are paid in advance for the full period.

5.4 We may end your subscription for any reason by giving you at least 30 days’ notice. If we do, we will refund any fees you have paid for the period after the end date.

6. Pausing an Annual plan

6.1 On the Annual plan, you can pause your subscription for up to four weeks in each subscription year.

6.2 Pauses must be booked at least one month in advance and taken in blocks of at least one week.

6.3 Paused time is added to the end of your current term. Unused pause time does not carry over to the next year. Monthly and Quarterly plans cannot be paused.

7. Revisions and approvals

7.1 Revisions are included while we refine work against the agreed brief.

7.2 A substantial change of direction, or a new brief, becomes a new request in your queue.

7.3 Work is approved when you tell us it is, or when you publish or use it.

8. Intellectual property

8.1 Once you have paid the fees for the period in which it was created, we assign to you the copyright and other intellectual property rights in approved final work, and in its editable source files where we supply them.

8.2 We keep the rights in our pre-existing materials, tools, templates, methods and know-how, and in concepts and drafts you did not approve. Where any of these form part of approved work, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them as part of that work.

8.3 Stock images, fonts and other third-party materials remain subject to their own licences. We will tell you when an asset needs a licence in your name; its cost is yours unless we agree otherwise.

8.4 We may show work we create for you in our portfolio and marketing once it has been made public, unless you ask us in writing not to, or it is covered by a confidentiality agreement between us.

9. Confidentiality

9.1 Each of us will keep the other’s confidential information secret and use it only for this contract. This does not apply to information that is or becomes public other than through a breach of this clause, that the recipient already had or develops independently, or that must be disclosed by law.

9.2 We may share your confidential information with subcontractors and advisers who need it, provided they are bound by similar confidentiality obligations.

9.3 This clause continues for three years after the contract ends.

10. Data protection

10.1 Each of us will comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10.2 Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of the service, for example names or photographs in materials you send us, we will: act only on your documented instructions; keep it secure and confidential; use subprocessors only under written terms that protect the data; help you respond to individuals’ requests and meet your security and breach obligations; delete or return it when the contract ends; and give you the information you need to show compliance.

10.3 Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data as a controller: https://alphatwice.com/privacy.

11. Our responsibility to you

11.1 We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee any particular business result from the work.

11.2 Our total liability to you under or in connection with the contract is limited to the fees you paid in the 6 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

11.3 We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

11.4 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending the contract

12.1 Either of us may end the contract immediately by written notice if the other materially breaches it and does not put it right within 14 days of being asked to, or becomes insolvent.

12.2 When the contract ends, any unpaid fees become due immediately, and clauses 8, 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply.

13. General

13.1 Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

13.2 During the contract and for 12 months after it ends, you will not directly engage or employ any designer or subcontractor we have introduced to your work, except with our agreement. If you do, you will pay us a fee equal to 25% of that person’s first-year salary or, if they are a freelancer, of the fees agreed for their first 12 months, in line with standard recruitment fees and reflecting our cost of finding and preparing a replacement. This does not apply to anyone who responds to a general job advertisement you publish.

13.3 We may update these terms by giving you at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your first renewal after the notice period ends.

13.4 You may not transfer the contract to anyone else without our written consent.

13.5 These terms, together with anything we agree in writing for your account, are the whole agreement between us.

13.6 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

13.7 No one other than you and us has any rights under this contract.

13.8 Notices may be sent by email to the addresses each of us has given.

13.9 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
